The aim of our Charity was to increase the understanding of mental illness, and the needs and problems of patients, and their carers. The most important thing you can do to support the care, welfare and recovery of sufferers from mental illness is to support our cause.

In February 2024 the trustees decided to cease operating the charity. They arranged for there to be:

• a Friends of Fulbourn Hospital and the Community  legacy fund as part of the CPFT charity Head to Toe, which would continue to support group activities in the wards and in community settings. 

• a Florence Ingle Trust fund as part of the Cambridge Aid charity, which would continue to support the needs of individuals.
